We are a young, internationally operating logistics company with internal customs clearance.

For our office on the border in Ramsen, we are looking for a Customer Service / Order Acceptance employee (80-100%) with immediate effect.

In this position, you are the first point of contact for our new and existing customers: by phone and by e-mail. Customer Service or order acceptance is an important interface between our customers and the customs department/disposition. You check the documents and information that our customers send with their order and prepare the incoming orders optimally for your colleagues for further processing. You will be happy to help customers with general questions and clarify any complaints internally.

Your tasks:

– Independent work in the area of order acceptance / customer service for logistics & customs clearance

– Regular answering of telephone calls

– Telephone and written advice to (new) customers on placing orders, according to specifications & process flow

– Acceptance of customs clearance and transportation orders

– Regular reply to e-mails

– Reception of walk-in customers at the counter if necessary

– Review and preparation of orders according to checklist / process flow in the import / export area, partly incl. Pricing

– Correspondence and clarifications with customers and colleagues

– Administrative activities

What you bring with you:

– Ideally completed commercial training (commercial apprenticeship), preferably in the field of customs clearance / logistics / wholesale and foreign trade; however, career changers are also possible

– General knowledge in the field of transportation and customs

– Very good knowledge of German (oral and written)

– At least basic knowledge of English (any other language is an advantage)

– Good IT skills (Word, Outlook)
