Dispatcher m/f (40-100%), location Ramsen, Switzerland

We are an internationally operating, young logistics company with internal customs clearance.

For our new office at the border in Ramsen we are looking for a Dispatcher (40-100%) with immediate effect.

In this position, you will be the direct contact person for our new and existing customers in the area of transportation: by phone and by e-mail. As a transportation expert, you show our customers what options are available for their specific needs. Be it transportation by land freight, sea freight or by air freight of commercial goods and vehicles. They calculate how much space a consignment requires on the means of transport, prepare quotations and take care of the organization for the smooth running of the transports. In doing so, you will be in consultation with our order acceptance department and, if necessary, with the customs department. You will negotiate terms and conditions for shipments with our carriers on a daily basis and monitor timely execution.

Your tasks:

– Independent work in the area of disposition / preparation of offers

– Regular answering of telephone calls

– Telephone and written advice to (new) customers on transport requests

– Acceptance of transport orders

– Respond to emails on a regular basis

– Reception of customers on site, if necessary

– Review, preparation and execution of transport orders

– Correspondence and clarifications with customers, partners and colleagues

– Administrative activities

What you bring to the table:

– Ideally a completed commercial training (KV apprenticeship), preferably in the field of logistics / wholesale and foreign trade

– General knowledge in the field of transport and customs

– Very good knowledge of German (oral and written)

– At least basic knowledge of English (any other language is an advantage)

– Good computer skills (Word, Outlook)

– A friendly, self-confident, quality-conscious and resilient personality
