Accounting Clerk (40-100%), location Wolfurt, Austria

We are a young, internationally active logistics company with internal customs clearance.
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk (40-100%) for our Wolfurt office with immediate effect.

In this position, you are primarily responsible for invoicing our orders. You will create invoices and credit notes for customers and partners, clarify special conditions internally before invoicing and accept complaints about invoices by e-mail and telephone. They send invoices and payment reminders as well as reminders by post or e-mail, together with the corresponding customs receipts, if applicable. You will also check the legality of debits to our customs deferment account and carry out general administrative tasks. You will also enter predefined posting records in our accounting program.

Your tasks:

– Independent invoicing and booking of shipments in the area of logistics & customs clearance

– Answering telephone calls and replying to e-mails regarding invoicing

– Creating and sending invoices, credit notes, payment reminders and dunning letters

– Checking and reconciliation of the ZAZ customs deferment account

– Correspondence and clarifications with customers and colleagues

– Administrative activities

What you bring with you:

– Ideally a completed commercial apprenticeship (commercial apprenticeship), preferably in the field of finance / customs clearance / logistics / wholesale and foreign trade or as an office clerk

– General knowledge of transportation and customs is an advantage

– Good German language skills (oral and written)

– At least basic knowledge of English (any other language is an advantage)

– Good IT skills (Windows, Excel, Outlook)

– A friendly personality with an accurate way of working
