Commercial internship in customs clearance<\/font><\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We are a young logistics company with internal customs clearance. For our customs office at the Swiss-German border in Thayngen near Schaffhausen, we are looking for an intern in customs clearance (100%)<\/b> with the prospect of a subsequent permanent position as a customs declarant<\/b>.<\/p>\n

You will be trained in the following tasks: <\/b><\/p>\n

– Independent work in the area of customs clearance \/ logistics, in particular:<\/p>\n

– Processing of import customs clearance \/ export customs clearance<\/p>\n

– Pricing according to Tares<\/p>\n

– Regular answering of telephone calls<\/p>\n

– Regular telephone and written advice to (new) customers on customs issues and acceptance of customs clearance and transport orders<\/p>\n

– Regular reply to e-mails<\/p>\n

– Reception of walk-in customers on site at the counter<\/p>\n

– Preparation of further customs documents (EUR.1, 13.20A, etc.)<\/p>\n

– Correspondence and clarifications with customers, customs offices and partners<\/p>\n

– Administrative activities<\/p>\n

What you bring with you: <\/b><\/p>\n

– Completed commercial training (commercial apprenticeship), preferably in the field of customs clearance \/ logistics \/ wholesale and foreign trade<\/p>\n

– General knowledge of transportation and\/or customs is an advantage<\/p>\n

– Very good knowledge of German (oral and written)<\/p>\n

– At least basic knowledge of English (any other language is an advantage)<\/p>\n

– Ideally knowledge of the ATLAS and\/or e-dec software connections<\/p>\n

– Good IT skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)<\/p>\n

– Car driver’s license advantageous due to the location<\/p>\n

– A friendly, self-confident, quality-conscious and resilient personality<\/p>\n

– A precise way of working<\/p>\n

– The willingness to learn new things<\/p>\n
